Your neighborhood watch group can help to keep your children safe this Halloween,
but only if you keep your group informed. With CallingPost it is easier than ever to
get the word out about meetings, schedules, and
especially warnings of suspicious behavior. One call
truly does it all!
"In the past as the Neighborhood Watch Coordinator
for my neighborhood, I've successfully used CallingPost
to deliver timely messages to our 36 Block Captains.
Recently I was elected President of our Association and
have found that CallingPost is also an effective means
of communicating with the 14 Board Members concerning
upcoming meetings, hot issues, neighborhood incidents,
deaths, etc"
One of my earliest large-scale uses of CallingPost back in 1995 was our local Neighborhood Watch groups. A local police officer found out about one neighborhood using CallingPost (then called the Coaches Board) and she wanted to use it herself to get in touch with all the Neighborhood Watch captains. Once she did that, all the Neighborhood Watch groups starting using us as well.
Instead of tracking down all of her
team captains to start a calling tree which would take
hours to get out a message, she could now record one
message and alert the entire neighborhood in minutes.
Since then neighborhoods have used CallingPost for many
things including lost pets, wandering children and even
an elderly man with Alzheimer's who was missing. By the
way, they did find the elderly gentleman with no harm
done. Don’t forget to let us know your unique
experiences with CallingPost so we can share them with
others.
