February 2007 Newsletter

CallingPost lets you communicate with the ones you love.

Communication is crucial in any relationship, and CallingPost delivers. When the furnace died in our gym, we managed to find an alternate location for our sweetheart banquet at the last minute. We thought that getting the word out in time would be impossible, but with CallingPost, it was easy to notify everyone who was scheduled to bring food, flowers, or music, as well as everyone who was supposed to help setup and serve. A second CallingPost message let all the invited guests know the new location, and the call history feature made it easy to verify that everyone was reached. Thanks, CallingPost, for making Valentine’s day a success!

February Love Year-Round

Many people link the short month of February with the romance of Valentines Day. A deeper version of love called Agape Love is defined in the dictionary as "the love of Christians for other persons, corresponding to the love of God for humankind or as unselfish love of one person for another." The latter definition of brotherly love correlates to the mission of CallingPost in helping people to help others. When you take advantage of CallingPost as a tool to communicate with members of your group, typically you are doing it in an effort to help them. Most users of CallingPost are volunteering their time and efforts to improve life for other people through thousands of organizations whether it be little league sports, scouts, civic clubs, churches, schools, and many-many more. Your care for others and your willingness to help others through volunteering is a critical element of what makes our country great. Thank you for caring!

A young woman was taking an afternoon nap. After she woke up, she told her husband, "I just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine's Day. What do you think it means?"

"You'll know tonight." he said.

That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it - only to find a book entitled "The meaning of dreams".
